“When I’m on the radio I feel at home.” I’m very humbled to be back in this position thanks to 97.7 and Chris Malone. My passion for the music and the industry runs deep. I have to thank my brother Ronnie for my musical passion, he used to play his records and or the radio all day. I remember the how good it felt listening to the radio as a kid and the impact it had on the listeners. I’ve been fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the greats in this industry (Elroy Smith, Stephen Hill, Coach Willie Maye, Rick Anderson, Kandie Eastman, and Sunny Joe White) I’ve been able to balance announcing with being a dj in Boston successfully over the years and developed a reputation as being a trendsetter and one of the best. I was the first to bring a show focusing on hip hop to my college station WERS 88.9. I pioneered the name The Thunderstorm as a title to a hip hop show I was the host of on WILD. I was able to make the transition of being a mix show host into weekend host and eventually landed mornings thanks to Rick Anderson on WILD. I made the transition into nights after WILD merged with another radio company. I produced the highest ratings in my time slot of evening 6-10 pm landing in the top 4 and 5 at nights in Boston. I love to engage the listener while I’m on air and enjoy interacting with people. I’m an avid traveler (one of my vices) and love my family life. I’m a huge sports enthusiast and a fan of almost everything old school.
