BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Cold temperatures are expected in New England this weekend, with the possibility of snow in some area.

Boston is set to drop to 23 degrees with wind chill on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service says a first now is possible Thursday night into Friday, but there is still a "great amount of uncertainty in the forecast."

The snow is most likely to happen in northern Connecticut, and the Berkshires into central and western Massachusetts.
