R. Kelly reportedly fears for his life in prison so he has no complaints about being held in solitary confinement.
The embattled singer’s attorney told TMZ solitary gives R. Kelly a sense of safety because you know how inmates feel and what they do to sexual predators.
But, she has concerns. The attorney feels solitary isn’t good for R. Kelly because he has no one to lean on or help. Because he’s illiterate, keeping up with something as simple as his commissary will be a difficult or nearly impossible task.
Also, there are tougher restrictions in solitary confinement. R. Kelly will only be allowed a total of 15 minutes telephone time per month versus daily phone privileges in general population.
