ORLEANS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A white shark was spotted off of Nauset Beach in Orleans Friday morning.
The sighting happened around 8 a.m. when the shark came close to a surfer in the water, according to the Orleans Natural Resources Office.
The Natural Resources Office asked the public to "remain vigilant" in a Facebook post on Friday.
