Billie Eilish Had No Idea Who Orlando Bloom Was When They First Met

Billie Eilish put her life on display in her new Apple TV documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, and one of the viral moments sees Katy Perry introduce the star to fiancé Orlando Bloom. However, Eilish had no idea who Bloom was at the time of the encounter.

Backstage of her first set at 2019 Coachella, Perry is seen embracing the then 17-year-old superstar with Bloom by her side. It wasn't until her brother, FINNEAS, tells her to look up Bloom afterward that she realizes just who he is. "That guy?" Billie questions as she looked up the actor on an iPhone in the film, which was directed by R.J. Cutler. "That was him? No way! Bring him back! I wanna meet him again. He kissed me on the cheek!"

Aside from Perry and Bloom, Justin Bieber makes not one, but two appearance in the film and it's kind of a big deal, considering that the star is Eilish's idol. Not only does she embrace the pop titan with the hug at the music festival, but Bieber called her via FaceTime and sent her a text after she won her five honors at the 2020 Grammy Awards. "It's moments like tonight where I'm reminded what I mean to people," he wrote in the message. "You love for me touched my heart. You are so special. Not for what you can do, but for who you are. Remember that."

Bieber ended the text with some words of advice for the chart-topper. "Enjoy every minute of what you are experiencing. Embrace it all, believe you are great, but not greater than anyone," he concluded.
