You Won't Be Let Down By Kelly Clarkson's Latest Cover Of Billy Currington

We know that Kelly Clarkson has plenty of country sensibility, so it goes without saying that her latest cover of Billy Currington's "Let Me Down Easy" was a total victory.

For the latest "Kellyoke" segment cover on the Monday (November 23) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Voice judge showed off her impressive vocal chops, alongside her socially-distanced band and back-up singers, to perform the 2010 smash. With some purple lighting, Clarkson showcased her ease in performing the ballad with a mid-song "woo" and soaring notes during the two-minute rendition.

"If I fall, can ya let me down easy?/ If I leave my heart with you tonight/ Will you promise me that you're going to treat it right?/Barely hanging on/ If I fall, can you let me down easy?" she belted during the track.

Back in 2017, Currington showed some love to Clarkson when responding to a random fan request for a duet between him and the American Idol OG. "I want and need a @kelly_clarkson & @billycurrington duet," one user wrote, to which Currington responded, "Me too."
