RANDOLPH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Randolph are searching for the suspect in shooting at a gas station early Sunday morning that left a man seriously injured.

The incident happened around 1:15 at the Mobile Gas Station on North Main Street. The suspect had entered the station before having an altercation with a man inside. He then went outside and fired three shots into the building, hitting the other man, who was later identified as a Dunkin' employee.

The employee was taken to a local hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

In a statement, Dunkin' said they are working with their "franchisee who is cooperating fully with the local authorities investigating this incident."

"The safety and well-being of our franchisees, their employees and customers are our top priority," Dunkin' said in the statement. "Our thoughts are with the Dunkin' franchise employee who was treated for non-life threatening injuries."

Police described the suspect as a man in his mid to late 20s, wearing a light baseball cap, grey Nike sweatshirt that says "Just Do It," and white sneakers with black laces.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
