Like most kids, I grew up playing Atari, Nintendo, and Sega. If you told me back then that I could get paid to play video games I would think you are the biggest liar on Earth but it turns out, now you can!
A website called HighSpeedInternet.com is looking to hire one lucky gamer to play Fortnite for 50 hours while testing it's various high speed internet connections.
According to the listing, the person chosen will get paid $1,000 after completing the required playtime between June 7 and July 31, 2019. The candidate will also receive free High-Speed Internet for one year, plus a new modem and router.
The goal is to hire someone to play the game on their current internet connection, then test out an upgraded internet connection provided by the company and compare the two.
Applicants must be over the age of 18, but you do not need to be a professional gamer to qualify.
If you're interested make sure you apply before the May 31, 2019, deadline.
