About Woman Of The Week: Elizabeth is a married mother of two sons who was a paralegal at some of Boston’s top law firms. She left her job to start a non-profit almost 20 years ago. Today she is the Founder & Executive Director of Tailored for Success which provides women and men in the Greater Boston area with free, high quality business clothing for job fairs, internships, interviews, and to start new jobs.
Since the organization started in 2000, it has provided thousands of job seekers with free high quality business attire, interview coaching and conducted hundreds of personal and professional development workshops. Many of the organization’s clients come from domestic violence or homeless shelters, job training and reentry programs.
The mission of Tailored For Success is to empower job seekers to become economically self-sufficient by providing resources, skills training and supportive reinforcement.
Liz has been described as extremely passionate about her work to help people and puts her heart into every interaction.
