About Woman Of The Week: Erin was born in Fall River, raised in Brockton and now lives in Dorchester with her husband, Josh, and two cats (Harry and Sally). She calls herself a true South Shore local, just without an accent.
Over the years she's had many different careers, starting out as Paper Delivery Girl, then Bank Teller, then after graduating from Johnson & Wales Pastry Chef, then moving into Business and Communication Theory which helped her land a position at Liberty Mutual's headquarters where she stayed in HR for almost 6 years.
All of her experiences have come in handy as Erin is opening Savin Hill Fitness Studio in May 2019 in the heart of Dorchester (directly across from the Savin Hill T Stop).
At Savin Hill Fitness Studio (https://www.savinhillfitness.com) Erin is focused on offering many different classes and services including: Yoga, Bootcamp, Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Pilates, Buti Yoga, as well as nutrition, personal training and massage which is why she's hired an incredible team. Erin is passionate about creating a space that is beautiful, welcoming and inspiring.
As a Fitness Professional (certifications include: Yoga Teacher, Certified Personal Trainer, Spin Instructor, Reiki Master and more) Erin LOVES teaching large classes as well as working one on one with clients. She is most excited about opening SHFS so she can connect with more amazing teachers and trainers, and help create a healthier neighborhood and community.
Erin is proud to be a Boston resident and loves giving back to the community, which is one of the reasons she can't wait to offer Community Classes every Saturday afternoon at the studio. These classes will be donation based so anyone is welcome, and all proceeds will go to local charities.
When she's enjoying some down time you can find her at her favorite restaurants, traveling, hiking, snuggling with her cats, reading a good book, and connecting with incredible people.
